{devon Senior 2011}/Liberty Charter High School Senior/Nampa Senior Photographer

When I was in high school, working at Abercrombie and Fitch was a coveted job. The rumor had it, when applying for a job, with your application, you had to submit a headshot of yourself. Only the gorgeous and beautiful were chosen to work there, and EVERYONE wanted to work there! Well, this my friends is a guy who was ASKED to work at somewhere very similar (in my opinion) to Abercrombie: Hollister. That's right! He was shopping one afternoon and was asked by an associate at Hollister if he was interested in a job. Some of Devon's friends say he is a "floor model." Which means, he wears their clothes, people think he is hot, and want to look JUST like him so they purchase Hollister clothes. From what I hear from Devon, he works much harder then just that. BUT, I am sure Hollister sells a TON of clothes just by having him working their floors!

I was honored when his mom asked me if I would take not only his high school senior pictures, BUT take some headshots. NOT to submit to Abercrombie, BUT for college. Devon will be going into Theater. I was so excited to photograph Devon. He not only is stylish (obviously), he has great hair, amazing eyes (which he really knows how to work to his advantage)and had a ton of ideas. For 2.5 hours, we went to 4 different locations with many wardrobe changes. All but one item came from Hollister of course!

As we were driving into one of my all time FAVORITE photo locations, Pink's latest song came on the radio. Devon started singing the part, "Too School for Cool" and I thought, "That is the theme for this session!" Too School for Cool!

Devon will hopefully become Liberty Charter High School's most outstanding Senior by the end of this year and move onto a life in Theater! For now, you might just run into him at his hangout, Hollister. If you do, tell him "Hi" from Rebecca!!!

And these my friends, are my two most favorite shots from the shoot!

Thank you Devon for the opportunity to shoot your Senior Pictures!  Thanks for braving the bitter cold with me (poor guy had a cough and a month later had his tonsils removed.  When I heard about his surgery, my heart dropped.  Did I cause him tonsilitis?  I hope not!)  I wish you luck at college and hope I am invited to your opening night of your first big show!

I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet chunk 4 days after he was born. He had just arrived into his new digs the night before and was still trying to figure things out. This little guy was SO alert, in the 2.5 hours I was in his home, he was awake for about 2.25 hours of our shoot. SERIOUSLY! I hope he slept the whole rest of the day and possibly the next because his mama was one tired cookie! Thank you Christine and Ed for welcoming me into your home. Thanks to Grandma Donna who went above and beyond as my "assistant." It was so nice visiting with the three of you. Give that chunky, cute, precious William a kiss from me!

{leinum family}/Nampa Family Photographer/Emmett Family Photographer

I am one of the luckiest gals I know! I have some amazing friends, and through them, I have met even MORE amazing people. Not that any of my friends are more amazing then others, but, you catch my drift! I am so grateful for the Dribnak's, who have introduced me to the Lienum Family! I have had the sweet pleasure of not only photographing Mackenzie, their oldest daughter for her senior pictures, but this Winter, I helped them surprise their extended family with a recent family picture. They hadn't had a recent family picture "in years" and decided this year was the year! Thank you Lienum family for your time, patience and faithfulness! I am liking our 6 month visits and look forward to beautiful Jordan's senior pictures in the Spring! Oh, and thank you for the YUMMY hot chocolate. It hit the spot and warmed me up for the Dribnak pictures!!!!

This Dad has his girls rolling!  I love their opened mouth laugh.  I too was laughing and THINK I might have even snorted a bit as I laughed!  Embarrassed a bit, YES I WAS!

{dribnak family}/Nampa Family Photographer/Idaho Family Photographer

This family is one of my favorites to photograph.  They had faith in me when I first began studying photography, and I have enjoyed every photo shoot with the Dribnak family since my trial days.  This past Summer my husband participated in a Triathlon located in Emmett, Idaho.   I fell in love with Emmett and couldn't wait for the Dribnak's family photo shoot!

{baby jonah}/Boise Newborn Photography/Boise Family Photography

I received a phone call on December 30th from one of my mom's great friends in Bend, Oregon. She wanted to give her daughter a birthday present and I was going to help her execute the present delivery. She wanted to arrange a newborn photo shoot for her daughter and her new family.  I wrote down the contact information of the new mom and dad and away I went, calling the Griggs family. I found out that in less than a day, I would be meeting their sweet baby Jonah and taking his newborn pictures!

Dani and Seth, your baby is so sweet. Thank you for the opportunity to spend the morning with you and your family!
