Mackenzie Nampa Senior 2010/be the seniority/senior photography/Boise photographer

They found me on Facebook. Love Facebook! Mackenzie was graduating from Nampa High School, my husbands alma mater, and when we met in Boise on chilly evening, I about screamed. Not only was Mackenzie gorgeous with the cutest hair, she had in tow a VERY stylish mama and two younger sisters who were following in her footsteps! Spending the evening with Mackezie and entourage pulled me right back to my senior year and the fun I had taking my senior pictures!

Congratulations Mackenzie on all of your accomplishments. She is smart, a total reader, and on top of it all, an amazing Basketball player. What CAN'T she do?!

Dille & Associates/Commercial Photography/Natural Lighting Photography/Boise Photographer

8.20.10
Late one evening we received a very stern knock on our front door. Our neighbor a few doors down was standing on our porch, a little out of breath due to running to our home. He was throwing a 35 year anniversary party for his Dad's CPA Accounting firm. His Dad originally wanted to rent out a Movie Theater for all of his clients to enjoy a free movie. His son had something else in mind. Something "popping" is the word I think he used. He said their would be balloons, a band, food, and even a roasted pig. "You had me at roasted pig" is what I wanted to say, but professionally and accurately I said, "I would love to be there and take pictures." This party gave me permission to outwardly people watch. People watching is one of my FAVORITE past times, and when I am given permission, I get a bit giddy!

Pictures of Jumphouse: Check!
Picture of Balloon arch made by my neighbor by instructional video off of You Tube: Check!
Picture of Roasted Pig AND Grandson "petting" the pig: Check!
Picture of the band and it's rocking members: Check!
Pictures of kids enjoying themselves: Check!
Pictures of food: Check! (Justin was bummed I didn't bring him a plate of the yummy food. He loves H M Meats! I didn't feel comfortable stealing the food!)

Paul, wonderful job my man.  I think you could possibly have a knack for party planning!  The blue and white was an excellent choice, you chose a great jumphouse and rock band, I think your dad and family were proud!

Congratulations Dille and Associates! May you have many, many more years of success! (I was so impressed by Mr. Dille! He knew every client by name AND by profession. He began his company PRIOR to being married. One of his associates has been with the firm for over 30 years! Amazing man and a huge company in the Nampa Area!)

It all began several months ago. Talking of family photos were always at the top of conversation. She hadn't had recent photos taken of her children and wanted them done before her new baby was to arrive. Over the course of many texts, a date and time was chosen. I had suggested many locations I had never gone to but had wanted to use them on her three cute kids. Just before our session date, I received a text stating, "I have the perfect place." She boasted of several ponds, rolling hills, a putting green and many trees. I was SO, so there!

I was led to a dead end of a very busy street in Star, Idaho. When we had to take a turn off the beaten path onto a gravel road, I knew this was going to be the greatest place EVER! The road turned into a one lane "bridge" which led us to the most beautiful log "cabin" I have seen in a long time. Seriously, this was NO cabin. It was more like a lodge. I started getting a bit "twitter-pated" as we walked around the grounds and knew this was going to be the greatest location EVER!

Thank you Angie for not only letting me spend the evening with your 3 children, but introducing me to my new favorite place!

AND a huge, big "thank you" goes out to the greatest Child Wrangler (I THINK that is what they are called in the movie business. The person in charge of keeping the children actors in the right place and under control!) Tina, Angie's sister who was in town from Utah. You were the greatest of help!

be in love/Amanda and Brady/Boise Engagement Photographer/Natural Light

I received a phone call early one morning from this little lady.  She said, "Well, I have a big question for you."  I didn't know what was up her sleeve.  She seemed a bit rushed but anxious at the same time.  She said, "I am getting married and I need my pictures taken. NEXT WEEK."  WHAT?  My jaw dropped, my heart began pounding, and questions flooded my mind.  Amanda was our trusted babysitter.  The one I could turn to in a bind, but also the one I trusted my two boys lives with.  So, my first thought was, "NO, you can't be getting married.  You have to be our babysitter until you are 50 years old."  Then, my thoughts turned to excitement as we began talking about the man she loved and the man who adores her to pieces.  We got together for a consult, asking what they were looking for in their pictures, etc.  I asked if they didn't mind kissing pictures, and, as you can see through these pictures, they didn't mind kissing whatsoever.

They are in love, Brady would do anything for Amanda.  Everyone deserves the love they share!
