I am a photographer, mother, wife, medical professional and a regular people watcher. I can often be found searching for the perfect photo shoot location with a diaper bag on one shoulder and my Canon DSLR strapped to the other.
I have been looking at life through a camera lens since adolescence. I love how photography gives me permission to people watch and capture life in a way that often passes us by. I have been, and continue to be, the overzealous friend who always has her camera in tow and snaps shots of everyone and everything.
Game playing, lots of laughter and squeals, and even some song singing can get any family comfortable and relaxed in front of my camera. The perfect Christmas card is not always the goal, but somehow, through all the fun and laughter, we capture that "mail to grandma" worthy shot without tears! I use natural light to capture the beauty and uniqueness of every individual I work with.
Every person has a different story and I look to tell that story through my work. I want to capture your uniqueness, find your happiness, and above all I want you to {be} you.
