Amanda+Brady=young love/Boise Wedding Photographer/Boise Temple Wedding Photographer

This was a special, bittersweet day for me.  I was given the opportunity to photograph one of my (and my sons) favorite people, our sweet babysitter, Amanda.  But, I was also sad because, hello, we were losing our babysitter.

The morning began a little after 7am at Amada's home.  Her friend and Bride's Maid Grace were doing make up and hair.  As they got ready, we listened to a music mix of Disney tunes!  I guess Brady is Amanda's Gaston!

Amanda is one of 7 childen, and is so loved.  Her little sisters were enjoying watching their big sister get ready.  I loved seeing their sponge rollered heads running around the home.

I not only got to spend the morning with Amanda, she invited me to her Temple Sealing  in the Boise LDS Temple.  Temple sealings are very sacred and aren't recorded.  Therefore, pictures outside the temple are the first pictures ever taken of the bride and groom AS husband and wife.
(This first picture is absolutely one of my favorite of the day.)

This couple had so many friends and family who were able to come to Boise for their special day. 4 generations were in attendance!  Amanda has one of the cutest Grandpa's ever.  When he spoke to Amanda in the temple after her sealing, I cried.  I told my good friends, the Andersons who were sitting next to me, old people always make me cry.  And if they are in need of assistance and are in a wheelchair, like Amanda's Grandpa, that makes me cry even more!!!
Amanda's oldest brother is serving an LDS mission in California and was the only one missing from this "siblings" photograph.

Thankfully, today wasn't a busy day for weddings, so, we had the temple grounds to ourselves.
I met up with the wedding party just as the bride and groom arrived to the wedding reception.  I love how everyone surrounded Amanda.  She was the princess for the day in her little sister's eyes.
We took the wedding party to a local park for more pictures.

Tyson, one of the groomsmen looks like he is about to devour his wife.  So "salsa-like!"

Can you see the bouquet?!

Congratulations to the Davis'!  Thank you for welcoming me into your home, your special day and your party.  I wish you many years of love and happiness!
