Sedrick Family/Adoption Family Photographer/Nampa Family Photographer

It was 8 short months ago that this family of 6 welcomed two more children into their home with open arms and huge hearts. These two beautiful children they adopted came from the earthquake wrecked land of Haiti and have blessed their family tremendously. A few short weeks after the wreckage, Jessica and Ashton were placed on a plane, flown to Florida, where they met their new parents and were later flown to Boise.

This families story began a little over 2 years ago when Judie, my friend, went to Haiti to volunteer in an orphanage. She felt drawn to one little girl and felt inspired to seek out her information. Judie knew this little girl belonged in her family and later found out this girl was not alone. She had an older brother. After a lengthy adoption process and the "blessing" of Haiti's earthquake, 8 months ago this family was united as a whole. None of Judie's children had met Jessica and Ashton prior to them coming to the United States.

What an inspiration your family is to me. Thank you for giving me the sweet opportunity to not only capture your family with photographs, but to also witness love and compassion at it's finest!

Notice Jessica's Tiarra?  Her family calls her "princess!"

Ashton's brother and sister spent two days doing his hair.  He is going to be a ladies man when he's older.  Look at that smile!

Lucky, oh lucky me.  And I mean that in the most sincerest way!  I am so excited to spend the morning with this hadsome guy in two weeks for his Senior Photos!  I am more then stoked.

Happy Happy siblings!  New home to call their own, new family to love them unconditionally, new beginning with a promising future!
Doesn't his smile make your day?!
